Data Retention

This page summarizes how long Kindpanel typically retains categories of information. Exact periods may vary for legal, security, or operational reasons.

Account data

Account profile and authentication identifiers are retained while your account remains active. After a verified deletion request, we delete or de-identify personal account data within a commercially reasonable period, subject to legal holds.

Lab uploads and confirmed values

Laboratory files and confirmed biomarker history are retained while your account is active so you can use longitudinal features. Upon account deletion, we remove or de-identify these materials according to our deletion process, except where retention is required by law or needed to resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or complete pending transactions.

Billing records

Payment processors retain transaction records as required for tax, accounting, and fraud prevention. We may retain limited billing metadata (plan, status, timestamps) after cancellation.

Support and security logs

Support tickets and security logs are retained for a limited period to investigate issues, then deleted or aggregated.

Backups

Deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for a limited rollover window before aging out of backup cycles.
