2. What automated processing does

When you upload a laboratory report, automated systems may:

• Identify text, tables, and numeric values in the document
• Suggest biomarker names, results, units, dates, and reference ranges
• Organize confirmed values into a longitudinal record you can review over time
• Generate general educational explanations about common biomarkers

Suggested values are drafts until you review and confirm them against your original laboratory report.

3. Accuracy and limitations

Laboratory values are extracted using automated technology and may be incomplete or incorrect. Compare every extracted value with your original laboratory report before confirming it.

Automated processing may fail or produce incorrect results when, for example:

• A report is scanned, rotated, low resolution, or partially obscured
• A laboratory uses an uncommon format, abbreviation, or layout
• Handwritten notes, stamps, or artifacts appear on the page
• Multiple tests or panels are combined in one file

Reference ranges vary between laboratories and testing methods. When available, we display the range supplied on your source report. Changes over time do not by themselves establish a diagnosis, improvement, worsening, or treatment need.

4. No physician or clinical review

No physician or other healthcare professional reviews your information as part of this consumer service.

5. Your responsibilities

Before relying on any value shown in Kind Panel, you agree to:

• Compare every extracted or suggested value with your original laboratory report
• Correct or reject values that do not match the source document

We process uploaded reports and minimum-necessary content to provide automated extraction and organization features described in our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Notice. We configure processing to minimize unnecessary personal identifiers where feasible.

We may update extraction methods, models, or providers as the Service evolves. Material changes to this disclosure will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
